Space shuttle. Flight through the never. Space art.
Before moving to the US, I wrote 3 scientific projects (astronomy, astrophysics) In my school-time I dreamed to become scientist, astronaut. I created over 600 artworks about space, and participated in dozens of space art shows. When we moved to US, I changed mind and decided to become fashion designer and business lady. I still love to create art about outer space. I created this artwork inspired by the NASA Space Shuttle Program and space exploration. This artwork is about space shuttle from my novel about space exploration, that sci-fi story is about James (a young astronaut from Los Angeles) & his adventures, life on other planet far away from solar system. On this pic, I painted antimatter (an active part of substation, same as in black holes) According my theory, described in one of my projects, the antimatter can be used to increase speed of space shuttles so it can fly much faster than speed of light. So I painted the fire-alike effect that takes place when space shuttle makes a shift from standard outer space to so-called "hyperspace", using antimatter-based motor. Once again, artwork illustrates a chapter from my sci-fi story, but it is based on my scientific project too.
This artwork - size is LARGE, 3x3 ft (36 by 36 inches), canvas basic frame width is 2 inches. Acrylic on canvas. Unframed.
